Cunningham Park Elementary celebrated digital citizenship week with spirit days to go along with our theme of media balance and well-being.

Monday, we wore our thinking caps to reflect on our technology use.

Tuesday, we wore active wear to remind us to exercise healthy technology habits.

Wednesday, we got creative with crazy hair and socks to remind us that we can use technology to create and not just consume.

Thursday was Dress Around the World.  As we learn about others’ perspectives, it’s important to focus on using high quality, reliable sources.

Friday was Hawaiian day where our focus was “lei” off the technology.

Our 6th grade ambassadors led the charge of our digital citizenship spirit week and spoke daily on our morning news show to remind our students to use balance and make healthy choices when using technology, both at home and school.
