Vienna, VA, January 10, 2024 – Last night, Cunningham Park Elementary transformed into a hub of innovation and excitement as families gathered for a night of exploration and learning at the highly successful STEAM Family Night.

From captivating robots to origami, holograms and building challenges, the event, held on January 10, 2024, showcased the incredible world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM). The hallways echoed with laughter, enthusiasm, and the hum of curiosity as students and their families engaged in various hands-on activities.

"The success of STEAM Family Night reflects the dedication of our teachers, staff, and the vibrant community we have here at Cunningham Park,” said Principal Hoak.  "It's evident that when we come together to celebrate education, incredible things happen."

Highlights of the night included a robotics station where students demonstrated their programming skills, a colorful art exhibit showcasing students' creative talents, and a hands-on science fair that left everyone in awe. Parents actively participated alongside their children, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

As the event concluded, families left with smiles on their faces and a newfound appreciation for the exciting world of STEAM. The positive impact of this engaging night will undoubtedly resonate in the hearts and minds of students, further fueling their passion for learning.
