CPES celebrates October with our annual storybook character parade!

After completing a school-wide PBL on renovating our play spaces at Cunningham Park, students presented their ideas to the PTA and Vienna mayor, Laurie DiRocco.

On October 12, CPES students celebrated walk or bike to school day with Casey the Cardinal as well as Mayor Linda Colbert of Vienna.

Over 200 CPES students biked or walked to school on May 4, which is celebrated as National Walk & Bike to School Day.

CPES celebrated 100 days of school with decorations and LOTS of counting! We built cup towers, made fruit loop necklaces and had lots of fun learning the value of 100!

Cheered on by our amazing students and parents, CPES faculty had a good showing in a friendly basketball game against Vienna Elementary faculty on Wednesday night at Madison High School.
