Cunningham Park Elementary celebrated Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math at our annual STEAM/Maker Family Night.

Cunningham Park Faculty and Staff participated in a Love Parade to show our love to our students, parents and community.

We were so excited that Dr. Reid visited our school on the FIRST day of school, along with our board members, Melanie Meren and Karen Keys-Gamarra. CPES has AWESOME students & staff and it was fun getting to show them around our school on our #FirstDayFairfax

“Just one more question!!” Tyler, a third grader, rushed toward his screen, grabbing my attention. The group of us, each in our own little cell, looked at him through our monitors.

Cunningham Park Elementary School presents as a case study of possibilities that open to our children and staff when accountability becomes authentic. Focusing on the three priorities that were made evident by crises, we saw the roof of testing come off of learning, as we handed the world to its future - our children.
